Thilo Bock

Thilo Bock was born in Berlin in 1973. He studied Modern German Philology, Ancient History and Comparative Literature at Technische Universität Berlin and earned a doctorate on Hugo Ball. His short-prose collection “Vogel sucht Fallschirm” was published in 1997. Bock has also published three novels and two collections of stories, including the open-air novel “Tempelhofer Feld” (2014). His work on “Die geladene Knarre von Andreas Baader” received, among other support, a grant from the Stiftung Preußische Seehandlung Berlin and funding through a residency in the artists’ village of Schöppingen.
