Robert Schoen

Robert Schoen, born in Berlin in 1966, studied applied theatre studies in Giessen. From the mid-1990s onward, he worked for radio and wrote numerous radio plays. His work received several awards, including the Hörspielpreis der Kriegsblinden, the ARD Online Award, the Hörspielpreis des MDR-Rundfunkrates, the Children’s Radio Play Prize of the City of Karlsruhe, and the German Children’s Radio Play Prize. In 2007, he received the German Children’s Radio Play Prize and, in 2011, the Hörspielpreis der Kriegsblinden for “Schicksal, Hauptsache Schicksal.”
