Uve Teschner

Uve Teschner, born in Leipzig in 1973, studied music in Potsdam, focusing on singing and guitar. From 2007 onward, he worked as a freelance voice artist and became particularly known for recording thrillers and crime novels as audiobooks. He also performed radio plays and readings and provided features, audio descriptions, and voice-overs for radio and television; his voice was additionally heard in advertising campaigns and dubbed film and television productions. His honors include the BÜCHERmagazin’s “Grandios” distinction for his interpretation of Anthony Horowitz’s “The House of Silk” and the 2022 HÖRkulino award for “Die Nordseedetektive. Filmreife Fälle.”
