Gudrun Hartmann

Gudrun Hartmann studied German studies with a focus on children’s and young people’s literature. During her studies, she began working as a journalist for Hessischer Rundfunk. In 1999, she undertook a one-year journey through various countries and regularly reported on it for several radio stations. After returning, she took over the children’s radio drama department and worked as an editor and dramaturge for the program. Her work, including her own adaptations, received several awards, among them the BEO Audiobook Award and the German Children’s Radio Drama Award. She also taught at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
