The German composer Henrik Albrecht (born 1969) began his studies at the Cologne University of Music in 1991, initially focusing on piano and later on composition and music theory. He composed concert music as well as music for radio plays, film, and theatre. From 2005 onward, he devoted himself to the orchestral radio play, a form combining literary works with orchestra and speakers. He received the German Audiobook Award for “The Canterville Ghost” in 2007 and for “War of the Buttons” in 2009.
