Martin Ulmer

Born in 1960, Martin Ulmer studied empirical cultural studies and modern history at the University of Tübingen, where he earned a Magister degree. He received his doctorate under Utz Jeggle for a study of antisemitism in Stuttgart from 1871 to 1933 and its significance for public discourse and everyday life. Ulmer served as managing director of the Gäu-Neckar-Alb Memorial Sites Association, coordinator for the Yad Vashem Archives in Jerusalem in Baden-Württemberg, and lecturer at the Ludwig Uhland Institute of Empirical Cultural Studies at the University of Tübingen.
