Katrin Bohnen was born in 1991 in a small town in the Rhineland. From an early age, she was interested in fairy tales, stories, and creative writing, and she returned to this passion as a teenager. In 2012, she joined the writing group Die Kraniche. One of her short stories was published as part of the Herbstlande universe, followed by further publications with the group. Bohnen also worked as a cover and logo designer.
