Born in 1979, Kati Lang holds a doctorate in law and worked as an attorney. She represented victims of right-wing, racist and antisemitic violence, including in proceedings against the far-right terrorist Freital Group and in cases related to the pipe-bomb attack on a mosque in Dresden and the antisemitic attack in Halle. She also represented co-plaintiffs in the trial concerning the attack on the synagogue in Halle an der Saale. Lang completed her doctoral research on the justice system’s handling of bias-motivated violence and is a co-editor of the report “Recht gegen Rechts” (“Law Against the Right”).
