Hermann Kinder

Hermann Kinder (1944–2021) was a German writer and scholar of German literature. He taught at the University of Konstanz from 1972 to 2008. He published novels, short stories, essays, poetry, and numerous volumes of prose. His later works include *Porträt eines jungen Mannes aus alter Zeit* (2016) and *Die Herzen hoch und hoch den Mut. Das Familienalbum meines lutherischen Vaters 1942–1949* (2018). His literary work received several awards.
