Rolf Parr

Rolf Parr (born 1956) is a scholar of German literature and media studies. He was a professor of German studies, literature, and media studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen, where he is listed as professor emeritus. His scholarly work has focused on literary, media, and cultural theory; cultural history from the 18th to the 21st century; discourse theory and research on normalism; collective symbolism; and the relationship between literature and media.
