Thomas Schmeller

Thomas Schmeller (born 1956) is a German Catholic theologian with a doctorate in theology. From 1993 to 2004, he was Professor of Biblical Theology at Dresden University of Technology, and from 2004 to 2022, Professor of New Testament Exegesis and Theology at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. His research has focused on the social and intellectual history of the New Testament, rhetoric, and the Apostle Paul.
