Christine Gerber

Christine Gerber, born in 1963, studied Protestant Theology. She received her doctorate from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 1996 and completed her habilitation at Humboldt University of Berlin in 2005. From 2007 to 2020, she was Professor of New Testament in the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Hamburg. She also taught New Testament at Humboldt University of Berlin, specializing in the religious, literary, and contemporary history of early Christianity.
