Sandra Aslund

Sandra Åslund (born 1976) grew up on the Lower Rhine near the Dutch border. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a makeup artist at theatres and opera houses throughout Germany. She later completed a distance-learning course in creative writing at Textmanufaktur. She has published two crime series set in Provence and on the southern French Atlantic coast. A passionate traveller in France, Åslund combines Scandinavian atmosphere and Swedish mentality with contemporary environmental themes in her crime novels.
