Eberhard Michaely

Eberhard Michaely, born in Saarbrücken in 1967, studied jazz saxophone at the Cologne University of Music. He performed in various jazz projects and musical productions and composed for his own bands. During a pilgrimage in 2014, he discovered a passion for writing and subsequently turned to crime fiction. Alongside his musical work, Michaely worked as a bus driver for the Hamburger Hochbahn. In 2022, he received the GLAUSER Crime Prize for Best Debut for his first novel, “Frau Helbing und der tote Fagottist.”
