Petra Probst (born in 1958 in Munich) trained in graphic design at the Lehrinstitut für grafische Gestaltung in Munich and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin. She illustrated numerous children’s and young adult books, as well as games and magazines. Books featuring her illustrations were published by many publishing houses, with some also appearing in Italy, France, China, and South Korea. Probst took part in exhibitions in Germany and abroad and received several awards.
