Sigrid Zeevaert

Sigrid Zeevaert was born in Aachen in 1960. After completing secondary school, she worked for a year at a Montessori school before studying primary education. From 1985 to 1990, she also studied German literature and comparative literature in Aachen. Her first young adult novel, “Max, mein Bruder,” was written as part of her final examinations. From 1990 onward, Zeevaert worked as a freelance author. She wrote numerous children’s and young adult books, as well as radio and anthology texts, a screenplay, and several plays for children’s theatre.
