Nicol Goudarzi

Dr. Nicol Goudarzi is an educator, special education teacher, and author. She taught at schools specializing in physical and motor development as well as intellectual development, and in inclusive classes. As a teacher educator, she trained prospective teachers of special education. Her work focused on augmentative and alternative communication and the education of students with profound disabilities. Goudarzi developed the concept of “Basale Aktionsgeschichten” (“Basic Action Stories”), a learning-, communication-, and perception-oriented approach for teaching children and young people with intensive educational support needs. She also published the novel “MAXIMAL UNSICHTBAR” in two versions: one in plain language and one for experienced readers.
