Ursi Breidenbach studied art history and cultural management in Vienna. After working in exhibitions and museums in Austria and Bavaria, as well as in art journalism, she became a freelance author in 2009. She has published feel-good and romance novels as well as nonfiction. Together with Heike Abidi, she co-authored the SPIEGEL bestseller »Eine wahre Freundin ist wie ein BH« and the books »Geschwister sind wie Gummibärchen« and »Großeltern sind wie Eltern, nur mit Zuckerguss«. In 2023, Breidenbach received the DELIA Literature Prize for best romance novel.
