Cally Stronk (born 1977) studied social and economic communication at Berlin University of the Arts. After working on freelance projects in editing, film, and music, she has worked primarily as a children’s author since 2010. Her books span several age groups and include picture books, early-reader stories, mystery and adventure books, and comic novels. In 2019, her early-reader book “Theo und der Mann im Ohr” received the Preuschhof Prize for Children’s Literature.
