Martin Conrath was born in Neunkirchen in the Saarland, Germany. After training as a drummer, he toured Germany with bands and ensembles for more than 20 years. He subsequently worked as a journalist for various newspapers and as a freelance writer and personnel developer. He also taught style, communication, and journalism. His work includes crime novels and historical novels; one of his crime novels was adapted as an episode of the German television series “Tatort.” Together with Sabine Martin, he has published historical novels.
