Petra Zeichner

Petra Zeichner, born in 1962 in Kassel, Germany, studied German literature and holds an M.A. She worked as an editor for the Frankfurter Rundschau and its local newsroom in Bad Vilbel. Zeichner writes poetry and prose. Her works include the cat crime novels Katerdämmerung, Unter Waldpfoten and Auf dunklen Schleichpfaden. Unter Waldpfoten was independently published and created in cooperation with the Hessen branch of the German Federation for Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND); the novel also addresses the protection of wildcats.
