Nazih Musharbash

Nazih Musharbash, born in Amman, Jordan, in 1946, studied and taught chemistry and biology. Until his retirement, he was a secondary-school principal and also worked for a district government as an in-service training officer and coordinator for school development and evaluation. From 1986 onward, he was active for several decades in municipal politics on city and district councils. As a replacement member, he served in the Lower Saxony state parliament for the SPD from February 1997 to March 1998. In 2008, he helped found the Osnabrück regional group of the German-Palestinian Society and was elected its president in 2018. From 1984, he organized and led tour groups in Jordan.
