Mirjam Zadoff

Mirjam Zadoff, born in 1974, is a historian. She studied history and Jewish studies in Vienna and Munich and was Professor of Jewish Studies and History at Indiana University Bloomington from 2014 to 2019. In 2018, she took over the direction of the NS Documentation Center in Munich. Her books include The Red Job: The Life of Werner Scholem (2014), which received the Fraenkel Prize for Contemporary History, and Violence and Memory: Global Memory in the Twenty-First Century (2023). In 2024, she received the Thomas Dehler Prize.
