Martin Kaufhold

Born in 1963, Martin Kaufhold studied history and German at Heidelberg University and spent the academic year 1985/86 at the University of Maryland in the United States as a Fulbright scholar. He received his doctorate in Heidelberg in 1993 and completed his habilitation in 2000. From 2003 onward, he held a professorship in medieval history at the University of Augsburg. His publications include Deutsches Interregnum und europäische Politik (2000) and Europas Norden im Mittelalter (2001).
