Maren Wurster

Maren Wurster, born in 1976, studied philosophy, literature and film studies in Cologne, as well as creative writing at the German Institute for Literature in Leipzig. Her debut novel, “Das Fell,” was published in 2017, followed by the memoir “Papa stirbt, Mama auch” in 2021. In 2022, she published the novel “Eine beiläufige Entscheidung” and the essay “Totenwache.” Wurster received several fellowships, including a 2019 work fellowship from the German Literature Fund.
