Franziska Hauser

Franziska Hauser was born in Berlin-Pankow in 1975. She studied at the Berlin Weißensee School of Art and photography at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie. Her debut novel, »Sommerdreieck«, received the lit.COLOGNE Debut Prize and was shortlisted for the aspekte Literature Prize. Hauser’s novel »Die Gewitterschwimmerin« was nominated for the 2018 German Book Prize. It was followed by the novels »Die Glasschwestern« and »Keine von ihnen«. In 2025, she co-edited the anthology »Ost*West*frau*« with Maren Wurster.
