Lysann Zander

Lysann Zander is a qualified psychologist. After studying psychology at Humboldt University of Berlin, she worked as a research associate at Freie Universität Berlin, where she earned her doctorate in 2010 and completed her habilitation in psychology in 2015. In 2018, she became Professor of Empirical Educational Research at Leibniz University Hannover. Her research has focused on educational inequalities, students’ social learning networks, gender and ethnic stereotypes, and the advancement of women in STEM fields. Together with Bettina Hannover, she served as the academic lead of the PAI project on the social and identity-based integration of refugee students.
