Martin Gartmeier

Martin Gartmeier (born 1976) is an educational researcher with a PhD. He worked as a research fellow at the Susanne Klatten Endowed Chair for Empirical Educational Research at the TUM School of Education, Technical University of Munich. He earned his doctorate at the University of Regensburg under Hans Gruber and Helmut Heid, researching error-friendliness in the workplace, positive attitudes toward errors, and negative knowledge as resources for professional action. His research topics include professional learning, learning from errors, negative knowledge, teacher education, and communication between teachers and parents.
