She was a research associate and doctoral student at the Heinz Nixdorf Chair for Mathematics Education at the TUM School of Education, Technical University of Munich. Her research focused on mathematical argumentation, conceptual understanding among students beginning university studies, and the relationship between school and higher education in mathematics.
