Hans Gruber

Hans Gruber (born 1960) is a German educational scientist. In 1998, he became Professor of Educational Science at the University of Regensburg. In 2015, he served as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Education of the University of Turku in Finland, which awarded him an honorary doctorate that year. His areas of work include professional learning, expertise, workplace learning, social network analysis and higher education. He was a member of the Educational Science Review Board of the German Research Foundation and president of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI).
