Ljuba Arnautovic

Ljuba Arnautovic was born in 1954 in Kursk, then in the USSR, and studied social pedagogy. She worked for the Documentation Centre of Austrian Resistance, as a Russian translator, and as a radio journalist. Her debut novel, “Im Verborgenen,” was shortlisted for the Debut category of the Austrian Book Prize. Her novels “Junischnee” (2021) and “Erste Töchter” (2024) were published by Zsolnay.
