Herbert Dutzler

Herbert Dutzler, born in 1958, is a former teacher and Austrian crime novelist. He became known for his crime novels featuring the clumsy Altaussee police officer Franz Gasperlmaier, creating a successful Austrian crime series. His other works include The Loneliness of Evil and At the End You Are Silent. In 2022, Dutzler received the Austrian Crime Award.
