Thomas Raab

Thomas Raab, born in Vienna in 1970, studied mathematics and sports. Before turning to writing, he worked as a teacher and was active in musical and music theatre productions as well as a singer-songwriter and musician. He became known for his crime novels featuring the restorer Willibald Adrian Metzger and for the serial-killer novel “Still. Chronicle of a Murderer” (2015). Two of the Metzger novels were adapted for German television by ARD. His awards include the Buchliebling (2011), the Leo Perutz Prize (2013) and the Austrian Crime Prize, which he received in 2017 for the first time it was awarded.
