Emily Walton was born in Oxford, England, in 1984 and studied journalism and German studies in Vienna. She is a freelance journalist and author. Her work includes historical novel biographies and romance novels; she also publishes some books under the pseudonym Mina König. Her debut, the novel biography The Summer When F. Scott Fitzgerald Almost Sawed a Waiter in Half, was published in 2016. She has received various scholarships and awards for her work.
