Kitty Crowther

Kitty Crowther, born in Brussels in 1970, is a Belgian author and illustrator. She studied at an art college in Brussels and has published picture books since the 1990s. She has written and illustrated more than 30 books, which have been translated into numerous languages. In 2010, she received the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA), one of the most important international prizes for children’s and young adult literature. Crowther is the daughter of a Swedish mother and an English father.
