Kurt Vethake

Kurt Vethake (1920–1990) was a German producer and director of children’s and young people’s radio plays, as well as an author. Particularly during the 1960s and 1970s, he adapted numerous classics of children’s literature for audio, helping shape children’s radio. As an author, he also primarily addressed children and young people. Vethake died in Berlin in 1990.
