Kateryna Mishchenko, born in 1984 in Poltava, is an essayist, translator and publisher. She co-founded the Medusa publishing house in Kyiv and the journal Prostory, which focuses on literature, art and social criticism. She also worked as an interpreter in the field of human rights. Her publications include the essay collection Ukrainian Night (2015) and Out of the Fog of War: The Present of Ukraine (2023), which she co-edited with Katharina Raabe.
