Katharina Raabe, born in Hamburg in 1957, is an editor for Eastern European literature at Suhrkamp Verlag. For many years, her work focused on discovering and promoting Eastern European authors and subjects in the German-speaking world. Her edited books include “Gefährliche Nachbarschaften – Ukraine, Russland, Europäische Union” (2015), “Testfall Ukraine. Europa und seine Werte” (2015, co-edited with Manfred Sapper), and “Warum lesen. 24 Gründe” (2020, co-edited with Frank Wegner).
