Elnathan John

Elnathan John, born in 1982 in Kaduna, northwestern Nigeria, is a Nigerian writer, satirist and lawyer. He gained wider public attention in 2013, when his short story “Bayan Layi” was nominated for the Caine Prize for African Writing; he was nominated again in 2015. His debut novel, “Born on a Tuesday,” was shortlisted for the Nigeria Prize for Literature (NLNG).
