Doris Akrap

Doris Akrap, born in 1974 in southern Hesse, is the daughter of a Dalmatian migrant worker. She worked as a journalist and columnist and headed a department at the daily newspaper taz. Her articles have addressed society, literature and Croatian politics, among other subjects. Akrap was involved in founding PEN Berlin and served on its board.
