Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida

Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida was born in Luanda, Angola, in 1982 and grew up in Portugal. She holds a doctorate in literary theory and has worked as an author and contributor to various journals and magazines. In 2018, she received a grant from Portugal’s Ministry of Culture. Her distinctions include the Prémio Literário Fundação Inês de Castro (2018), the Prémio Literário Fundação Eça de Queiroz (2019), and the Prémio Oceanos (2019).
