Tilo Wesche (born 1968) studied philosophy, political science and German studies at Freie Universität Berlin. He earned a doctorate and a habilitation and taught at, among others, the universities of Basel, Freiburg, Jena and Oldenburg, where he held a professorship in practical philosophy. His areas of work included the relation between metaphysics and its critique, aesthetics, practical philosophy, and ancient and modern philosophy. His publications include The Rights of Nature: On Sustainable Property and works on Søren Kierkegaard.
