Mark Terkessidis (born 1966) is a writer and migration researcher. From 1992 to 1994, he was an editor at the magazine Spex; he later worked as a radio presenter and contributed to newspapers and journals including taz, Die Zeit, Der Tagesspiegel, and Süddeutsche Zeitung. He completed a doctorate on the banality of racism and taught at the universities of Cologne, Rotterdam, and St. Gallen. His publications include Psychologie des Rassismus (1998), Migranten (2000), Interkultur (2010), Kollaboration (2015), Nach der Flucht (2017), and Wessen Erinnerung zählt? (2019). In 2012, he founded the project Heimatlieder aus Deutschland together with Jochen Kühling.
