Thomas Keiderling

Thomas Keiderling is a historian and media scholar. He studied history, journalism and cultural studies in Leipzig and Newcastle upon Tyne, and completed a distance-learning program in library and information science in Berlin. He received his doctorate in 1999. He subsequently worked for the reference-book publisher BI/Brockhaus in Mannheim and Leipzig and was a research associate at Leipzig University’s Institute of Communication and Media Studies from 2003 to 2012. He completed his habilitation in 2010. In 2004, he became a corresponding member of the Historical Commission of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association.
