Sven Kramer

Born in 1961, Sven Kramer studied, received his doctorate, and completed his habilitation at the University of Hamburg. He taught modern German literature and literary cultures at Leuphana University Lüneburg and worked, among other positions, as a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne. He also held visiting professorships at the University of Western Australia and Brown University. His publications include »Ästhetik, Revolte, Widerstand«, »Rätselfragen und wolkige Stellen«, »Spuren der Zeitgeschichte im Kulturraum Elbe«, and »Ästhetiken des Widerstands«. He also served as managing editor of the »Zeitschrift für kritische Theorie«.
