Stefania Maffeis (born 1975) is a professor of political theory and theories of education at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Dresden. Her scholarly work focuses on philosophical and ethical debates, migration as a human right, and mobility and transnationality in the history of political ideas. Her publications include Transnationale Philosophie. Hannah Arendt und die Zirkulationen des Politischen (2019), Migration als Menschenrecht? Die theoretisch-politische Debatte in Europa (2019), and the essay “Das Subjekt der Menschenrechte” (2018).
