Serhat Karakayali

Serhat Karakayali, Dr. phil., is a sociologist whose research focuses on migration, mobility, solidarity, and racism. He has been associated with the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research at Humboldt University of Berlin and taught sociology with a focus on migration and mobility at Leuphana University Lüneburg. His publications include “Feeling the Scope of Solidarity” and “Scales of Responsibility: Constructing Relations of Solidarity.”
