Alexander Behr

Alexander Behr (born 1979) is a political scientist, journalist and translator. He completed his doctoral dissertation under Ulrich Brand on exploitation and resistance along the supply chain for fruit and vegetables. Behr has taught at universities, schools and for trade unions, and has been involved in anti-racist, climate and migration-related initiatives. He was involved in founding the Afrique Europe Interact network and has translated and edited several books by refugees. Together with Filimon Mebrhatom, he published »Ich will doch nur frei sein. Wie ich nach Unterdrückung, Gefangenschaft und Flucht weiter für eine Zukunft kämpfe« (2020).
