Silke Schneider

Silke Schneider holds a doctorate in political science. Her academic work combines historical and feminist perspectives on structures of social inequality and on processes of autocratization and democratization. Her publications include the monograph »Verbotener Umgang. Ausländer und Deutsche im Nationalsozialismus – Diskurse um Sexualität, Moral, Wissen und Strafe« (2010), as well as contributions on feminist perspectives on autocracy and on the life of the communist and feminist Hilde Radusch. Schneider also served as co-editor of several publications of the journal »Femina Politica«.
