Sahra Wagenknecht

Sahra Wagenknecht is a German economist with a doctorate, author and politician. She served as a member of the German Bundestag for Die Linke and previously as a member of the European Parliament. From 2010 to 2014, she was deputy chair of Die Linke, and from 2015 to 2019 she chaired the party’s parliamentary group in the Bundestag. Her publications include her dissertation, “The Limits of Choice,” as well as the books “Freiheit statt Kapitalismus” (2012) and “Reichtum ohne Gier” (2016).
